my little brother’s high school

Last night at MTV’s 2009 Video Music Awards (finally back in New York City) Taylor Swift won Best Female Video only to have Kanye West run on stage and interrupt her acceptance speech saying that Beyonce made “one of the best videos of all time.” Later, Beyonce won for Best Video of the Year (because, yes Single Ladies really was a great video) and invited Taylor back on stage to try again. My question is, how did he get up there so quickly in the first place? If that was staged by MTV then I feel sick.

a few quick things

1. The children are supposed to be back but they are not yet. This is excellent news meaning that I am free from that job (1 of 3) until tomorrow which means I now have the afternoon and evening to play/gym/library/etc.

2. I called dog park boy last night in an effort to try and not be a weirdly deceiving freak. I told him about dubs and then we went out to eat. It was lovely. He’s good stuff I tell you.

3. In case a few of you out there through that maybe there were still entry level jobs (in media or drug distribution) out there this will be the dagger to your soul. Read, but you are warned. The articles advice? Ride out the bad years. All 6.5 of them.

4. Madonna’s nanny tried to quit (probably from exhaustion) but Madonna fired her before the notice was up. This is hilarious because the nanny was supposed to be going to Malawi to ‘select’ a new baby for Madge next month. This is hilarious because what nanny PICKS OUT a child for another person? I don’t even know what to say. Maybe I should look into being a celeb nanny again. Apparently, Madonna needs one.

I was really hoping that Justin and Britney would have a public reunion. It sure was close, good try Madge.
