Justin Timberlake was seen at the Village Pourhouse last night around midnight for the Oscar viewing party. The one I noted yesterday and almost attended. Grrrr. In the end I found a party a little closer to home.
Also, I swear Gawker used to call this section (link above) of their site ‘Celeb Sightings’ or something but now its called ‘Stalker’–yikes!

Today, while on the treadmill, I decided that when I grow up I want to be someone who (religiously, yet casually) watches The View. I mean, honest to God, who the fuck are these people that watch The View mid-morning, everyday? It’s almost unthinkable. I’ve become obsessed with watching Joy and Elisabeth fight and bicker every morning. Also, I’ve become obsessed with the steam room. Yesterday, after an uber hard work out I showered and went into the steam room. After 5 minutes I almost passed out. I just couldn’t bring myself to leave the tiny, dark room. It is so heavenly-you can actually feel yourself opening up and melting away.
Also, I wish Sylvia was still around so I could write to her. I would write to her as I wrote to Justin Timberlake when I was 14. But to Sylvia I would ask why, when Esther is hospitalized after her suicidal (via pill) attempt, her mother comes to the hospital wearing a dress with purple cartwheels. If only I knew what purple cartwheels were, I think I would feel better about things.
I am moving shortly- leaving this lovely landlocked layover. I’m looking for jobs and apartments and vets and love and gyms and underground musicians but in the mean time I’m enjoying Denver’s fabulous weather that I will oh so miss.
